Definitions

For the purposes of this Disclaimer:

Company (referred to as either "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Disclaimer) refers to Summerlane & Co.,2 Ncondo Place, Ridgeside Road, Umhlanga Rocks, Umhlanga, KwaZulu-Natal, 4320
Service refers to the Website.
You means the individual accessing the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.
Website refers to Summerlane & Co., accessible from https://summerlaneworld.co.za

Conditions of Booking
Minimum of 3 nights stay over a weekend
Minimum of 4 nights stay during a midweek
Stipulated arrival and departure dates in December, School holidays and Public holidays.
Standard Conditions

Accommodation is subject to availability on a first come, first serve basis.
Please note that overcrowding of chalets / units will not be permitted and the maximum

occupancy as reflected in the confirmation letter includes children of all ages. Should the
maximum occupancy be exceeded the resort / The Summerlane & Co. Group shall have no alternative but to
insist that the number of guests exceeding the maximum immediately leave the resort.

All guests will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the Name, Surname, ID Number and all other details on the confifrmation letter.
The booking will be confirmed with a confirmation letter and the confirmation letter must be

produced on check-in at the resort and failing such the resort may refuse admittance.

Only the guests whose name appears on the confirmation letter will be permitted occupation.
The resort may, for practical reasons if deemed necessary, be required to change the location

of the Guests unit and reserves the right to assign a different unit without prior notice.

Articles of display, equipment or guest property brought on to the resort premises are not

covered by the resort / The Summerlane & Co. Group insurance policy and are brought onto the resort
premises at the sole risk of the guest. Although the resort / The Summerlane & Co. Group endeavour to take
the utmost care at all times, it does not accept liability for loss of and / or damage to such
items and / or property.
Payment Requirements and Methods

Payment will be due in full 24 hours after an offer has been made and prior to occupation of the

unit/s, in case of bookings made within 7 days of occupation, payment shall be due
immediately.

Please be aware of possible power cuts or water disruptions that may take place at resorts that are beyond our control. Neither Us, the Resort, nor the Managing Agent if applicable will be held liable for such disruptions during your stay
The resort reserves the right to refusee admission for reasons including but not limited to expected disruptions, exceeded number of guests or/and pets insistance by the proposed guest
Please take note that no pets are permited at any of the Resorts. This includes all pets.
No check-ins will be permitted after 21h00. Any arrival after 21h00 will not be granted access.
Payment can be made via Electronic Bank Transfer, Direct Deposits or Credit Card (Visa,

Master, Diners and Amex accepted). If the latter is your preferred method of payment kindly
request credit card authorisations form.

No cheques accepted.
In some instances a refundable key/breakage deposit is payable on arrival at the resort. Th fee is not payable to the reservation company - this is a resort function
Date changes, moving of resort or unit number or sleeper size are all regarded as a cancelation since the original reservation has to be canceled and a new reservation will need to be made.
Please note that non-compliance to the Reservations Company / Resort Rules and Regulations and Terms and Conditions may lead to the immediate eviction or occupation not permitted of the group, at the sole discretion of Management and / or Security. Should a group be evicted from the resort, or occupation not permitted, neither the Reservations Company, the Resort nor the Managing Agent will be responsible for any form of compensation / refund.
No parties/loud music/disruptive/abusive behaviour will be tolerated. Non-complaince will let to immediate eviction at Management's discretion and neither party will be liable for any form of compensation or refund - Management or the Booker's Agent if applicable
The key breakage fee applies per chalet and not per group.
In the event of the agreed full payment is not received by the stipulated date on the confirmation

letter, The Summerlane & Co. Group shall be at liberty to release the reservation without notice to you.

Prior to participating in an offer, bidders must top up a bidder's credit of R500.00.

In the event of losing a bid, the full amount remains refundable and/or re-usable for another bid.

In the event that the bidder has the winning and highest offer at the time of the auction closure, the bidder is required to make a payment within 1 hour to secure the booking or risk losing the full bidder's deposit if payment is not made within one hour.

Cancelation Policy

No verbal cancellation will be accepted.

Summerlane & Co. Group reserves the right to charge:

50% Cancellation fee on the total booking if cancelled 60 days prior to arrival.
90% Cancellation fee on the total booking if cancelled 60 days to 30 days prior to arrival.
100% Cancellation fee on the total booking if cancelled 30 days prior to arrival.
The above cancellation penalties will also apply should there be a reduction in chalets/rooms/delegates/guest numbers.
R150.00 administration fee will be levied on all bookings cancelled.
In the event of the resort / Summerlane & Co. instructing attorneys to collect any amounts owing, all legal fees and collection charges between attorney and guest / client shall be borne by the guest / client.
A no-show is a non-arrival of a Guest without notification in writing (fax or e-mail) to the resort / The Summerlane & Co. Group In case of a no-show, payment will be forfeited, or alternatively you will be liable for 100% no-show fee if payment were not made prior to arrival.
The resort / The Summerlane & Co. Group serves the right to cancel any booking forthwith and without liability on its part in the event of any damages or destruction of the allocated units by fire, floods or other causes.
In the event of the agreed full payment not received by the stipulated date on the confirmation letter, The Summerlane & Co. Group shall be at liberty to release the reservation without notice to you.

Bidder's Credits

A deposit of R500.00 is required in the bidder's account prior to placing any offer
Such an amount remains refundable where no winning offers have been placed
Once a bidder places an offer and the offer remains the highest, the bidder is entitled to full payment of securing the booking through making a balance payment alternatively in the event of failing to make the full payment, forfeits the deposit amount
The bidder's credit remains valid until such a time that the bidder requires to withdraw the funds unless otherwise forfeited through highest bid offerings
The bidder's deposit will only be accepted through payments made and confirmed at least 48 hours before placing or participating in an offer
Bidders credits apply only to The Summerlane & Co. Group's members

The Sky Rewards Program

By Joining the program you acknowledge the full understanding of all the Terms of Use of The Summerlane & Co. Group's usage policies for all products
The bidder's deposit will only be accepted through payments made and confirmed at least 48 hours before placing or participating in an offer

The Summerlane & Co. Group will never send you a letter to change banking details other than the bank details supplied on our invoices, or including details supplied on our contractual agreements. All emails from the Summerlane Group will only be sent from an @summerlaneworld.com email address
Summerlane & Co. Group together with it's entities will never ask for your credit card number or details thereof.
